Description:
This sturdy and hardy plant is a wonderful evergreen shrub. Reaching a size of about 4' tall and 7' wide, its grey leaves with white undersides are attractive at all seasons, and masses of white midsummer flowers smell of coconut! It comes from Westland in the area northwest of Queenstown, in a very cold, wet, and rugged part of the Southern Alps. It is very easy to grow and will be content in sun or part shade.
